Church Youth Ministries
“Oasis” Senior High Ministry for 9th-12th
Grade teens!

Why
“Oasis”?
- An “oasis”
is defined as a fertile place of growth within a desert. Our
desire is that the Senior High Youth Ministry be just that, a
fertile place of spiritual growth within a world that is in fact
a spiritual desert. Our desire is to help to provide a firm
foundation for teens that they may live a life that is honoring
to God.
- Philippians
1:6 “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in
you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ
Jesus.”
Specific Goals for the “Oasis” ministry:
- Emphasize
faith in action (service) opportunities and experiences
through the church, outside projects, and people groups.
- Build
relationships that we might guide, teach, and lead by
example.
- Disciple,
teach, train teens in Bible truths and doctrine to edify and
equip for service to Him.
- Relate
current events from a Biblical worldview.
-
Evangelize
- Parental
involvement

Again, our desire is to partner
with parents to provide reinforcement to your example. The
greater the number of different sources of a relavent, abundant
Christian life your teens are exposed to, the more likely they
are to walk with the Lord as they mature. Please allow us to
come beside you as we strive to provide service opportunities,
encouraging Christian relationships, discipleship and training,
and evangelistic opportunities, training, and encouragement.
As always, if there is anything
we can do to assist you or questions you may have, please feel
free to contact myself or one of the Youth Leaders of Grace
Community Church.
In His Service,
Pastor Andy
