“Primetime” Junior High Ministry for 7th and 8th grade teens.
 

 

Why “Primetime”?

• The name identifies a point in time of great significance and importance.  The Junior High teens are at such a time, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
• The name communicates the excitement, importance, and time of day for “Primetime” weekly meetings.  (Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM)
• Hebrews 6:1 “Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity…”
• “Growing Together Towards Christ”

Specific Goals for the “Primetime” ministry:

• Building relationships with teens as a teaching tool.
• Teaching Bible truths to establish a firm foundation for life and service.
• Encouraging service opportunities.
• Evangelism and outreach.

“Primetime” Meetings:

• Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM in Gym/Youth Room
• Fun and Games in the gym!
• Small Group Bible studies and prayer
• Praise in Song

We know that the primary influence in the life of a teenager is still mom and dad.  You are the real spiritual leaders of your teen.  Youth ministry is most effective when parents and a strong Youth Ministry are working together.

It is our desire to come beside you as a parent and work together that our teens may truly grow in Jesus Christ and learn to serve Him!
