The Walk
Through Bethlehem
This is a
Christmas time program presented by the members of Grace Community
Church.
Individuals and families continue to look for experiences that will
add meaning to their holiday season. As you journey back through time you
will experience for yourself what it was like for Mary and Joseph as
they traveled to Bethlehem so long ago.
This interactive program allows you to get a feel of what it was
like living in biblical times. Hear the sounds of the merchants,
money changers, and live animals in the market place. See the
beautiful hand made tapestries, and craftsman at work as the aroma
of fresh baked breads lingers in the air. Taste the home made
sweetness of authentic candies and baked goods of ancient times, and
shop while children play at your feet. As you
walk through
Bethlehem the Christmas story unfolds for Mary and Joseph, from the
beginning of their pilgrimage, through Bethlehem’s
market place and
finally to the scene of the manger where the true meaning of
Christmas is revealed.
The focus of this event is the celebration of the birth of Jesus
Christ.
Remember, this is a Walk Through Bethlehem, not to
Bethlehem. Christ did not stop at Bethlehem. He went all the
way to Calvary!
